Food after Voiceover sessions
Updated: Jul 2, 2019
I love food. Seriously! I should be doing voiceovers ABOUT food! My day has a pretty loud dinner bell at 5 pm. Actually, it's the cats telling me it's time to feed them. But that is my cue to start cooking dinner for the family that we will all enjoy!
So that is what this blog is about. At least this one...and a few after that. Good recipes that make us say "wow!" and where I source my ingredients.
Two words: Trader Joe's. I love them. 90% of my groceries come from that store. Also they are about a mile from my house. When I'm menu planning or find a new recipe, I always turn my thoughts to the Trader Joe's stock. You see, I don't have time to chop, prep, boil and curate my dinner. I gotta get this stuff done so I can go back into the studio and record some more!
Our latest "wow" dinner is a recipe I took from Martha Stewart Living. All the ingredients came from TJ's and I added a few flairs at the end to really make it more exciting. Here's a picture and I'll write alllll about it in my next blog!
Spinach Tortellini with sauteed mushrooms, leaks, arugula and a delicious creme fraiche sauce. Sprinkle with Pine nuts and a drizzle of balsamic and VOILA!
